Dupe as in ‘duplicate’ I mean 😅. I'm in Meta's brain. The Atlantic has a great page which allows you to search for your favorite authors and see if Meta is training their large language models off copyrighted data. They did NOT pay for it.
And my novel, Above Dark Waters, about an brainwave-reading AI therapist who takes over the world, is in that training dataset!
Whelp, whether I wanted to or not, Above Dark Waters, a sci-fi novel about not trusting the an LLM with your private brainwave data is warning the AI’s not to train on brainwave data.
